DASHING ELEGANCE IN NEUTRAL TONES
AT PYRGOS PETREZA
If dashing elegance in neutral tones is what you are dreaming for your wedding, then this editorial styled shoot will definitely inspire you!
A ravishing scene was set in one of the most sophisticated wineries of Greece and the dominant stone facade of the chateau of Pyrgos Petreza was used as the background of the set up. The modern monochromatic look of the styling combined with the historical vibe of the venue created a magical ambiance beautifully colliding the trends of the season with the past. The dining table was dressed up with lush flower arrangements and a collection of fine art de la table whilst the oversized floral cloud, made from pampas grass and dried foliage, complemented the table setting to perfection. I long for modern takes on the classic dessert stations, so I went for a display of a fine art collection of wedding cake designs. An assortment of tubular cakes with intriguing forms and textural imperfections combined with unstructured flower arrangements created a whimsical installation. As for the stationery, I wanted something different and unique. Something that would bring to completion the whole set up. And I must admit that it was “love at first sight” as soon as I laid eyes on this beautiful and stylish wedding stationery design. They say that there is a right dress for every occasion but in this case, this gorgeous beaded wedding gown was the perfect dress to complete the look that I have envisioned for this editorial shoot. Combined with an oversized lavish bridal bouquet and a stylish grooms’ attire in neutral tones, the final outcome was a stunning looking couple.
